Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars "The Story of Joseph & His Brothers" in the Beginner's Bible   December 6, 2000

This is the Biblical tale of Joseph in a form that's good for kids. It tells the story quite faithfully, except for leaving out the more disagreeable parts of the story, like Potiphar and his wife. And, even after his brothers throw Joseph down the pit, there follows a long sequence about his brothers seeking some lost sheep, just to show that they weren't really all that bad after all.

Being for kids, the Joseph here is a cute looking character, in bright Egyptian style, complete with colourful chariot and horses. And, naturally, once he makes up with his brothers, he sings a nice song just to round off the story.
