Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This title is the "New York Times" bestseller - now in paperback. In "America Alone", Mark Steyn uses his trademark wit, clarity of thought and flair for the apocalyptic, Mark Steyn to argue that America is the only hope against Islamic Terrorism. Steyn addresses the singular position in which America finds itself, surrounded by anti-Americanism on all sides. He gives us the brutal facts on these threats and why there is no choice but for America to fight for the cause of freedom - alone.

5 out of 5 stars A call to stand firm in a spineless age   December 30, 2008
Erudite, yet accessible; dead serious, but delivers its dire warnings with a good dose of wit and humor. This is one of the most important books of recent days, and it's one we'll take off our shelves to reread in ten years and wonder how we all could have been so blind to what was going on around us.

5 out of 5 stars What happens when you stand for nothing?   December 29, 2008
When you stand for nothing, accept all views as equal no matter what they are, and let a large amount of immigrants into your country that do the opposite, prepare to be dominated.

5 out of 5 stars Thank GOD the Canadians Couldn't Bring Down Mark Steyn   December 26, 2008

Was there ever a writer in the Later Roman era as insightful, funny and dread-inducing as Mark Steyn? Likely not, because Romans slid into their collapse mostly asleep at the wheel. We (the West), though, have this brilliant man to keep pinching us into lucidity, so perhaps we'll make a longer go of keeping the monsters of the Middle East out of our lands. This wonderful book deserves a big, grossly enormous government subsidy to make sure it remains in every American high school library. Forget the universities, they're too busy checking their iPhones for how to properly bend east to Mecca. Love you, Mark Steyn!!!!

I ordered this product and never received it. Then I sent an email and didn't hear an answer.

1 out of 5 stars Xenophobia feels great   December 17, 2008

Nothing like more conservative xenophobia. It doesn't surprise me that yet another conservative fears what he decides to be ignorant of.
